Oh my Bella, my sissy, my Bell-Bell, my Bella Button. Thank you for the last 17 years, you would have be 18 in May. For 17 years you were so much more than a dog, you were my baby, my side kick, my heater in bed. You were my best friend, you were by my side for so much, you were my listener, you knew my secrets, you’d watch me laugh, you’d lick my tears. You were there for everything, from heart aches, to marriage, always waiting for me the moment I walked in the door with our new babies and all the in between. You were an amazing vacuum, but an oh so picky one, you’re the only dog I knew who refused to eat chicken nuggets or french fries without ketchup. I’m going to miss you so much my sweet girl, last night broke me, but what an honor it was to love on you the entire night, I remember the day you were born oh so tiny with your little dapple spots. You quickly became spoiled, treats, squeaky toys and you loved going Bye-Bye. You always loved to be close and cuddle, so how fitting it was to be able to spend all night with you holding you, rocking you and simply letting you know how much I loved you. I watched you take your first breath and held you as you took your last. This hurts, at your age we knew it wouldn’t be long, you were tired, you would look at me with those big brown eyes and they took me back to when you were a puppy. I love you so much Bella, I just wish love could have kept you alive forever. Rest Easy Sissy. ❤️
