We adopted Knox from Louisville Metro Services in November 2014. I saw his photo on their website and instantly wanted him. We went to LMAS the same day and brought him home. That was the beginning of a long, adventurous journey with our boy.
My sweet boy is running pain free in heaven. His ashes are located at Highland Pet Cemetary.
Here are a few memories of Knox…
Loved the snow but was terrified of water. ie) Baths, Storms, even light drizzles were like acid to him
Loved eating the crust from the kids’ PB&J sandwiches.
Loved trying to break through the screen when the mailman came. He could hear the truck from a mile away.
Loved us and would us protect from anything and everyone. He would stand in front of me when a stranger came by. He even nudged me when I reached across him to wake my son up for school
He was the fastest dog I’ve ever seen. He would not walk into the house. He charged through the door full speed.
Loved stealing sleds from the my son when he went down the hill in the backyard on snowy days.
Love ❤️ you Knoxy boy. You are always in our heart.
