Kona was a big boy, but he was the biggest baby. He was spoiled and a drama queen who complained if you took his spot on the couch. He was both a daddy’s boy and a momma’s boy at the same time. He loved butt scratches. He loved to follow his people into the bathroom as they got ready for the day or ready to sleep, as he knew that he would get love and scratches and undivided attention. That was his #1 location to receive butt scratches.
We still can’t believe you’re gone. It happened so fast. We all deeply miss you Kona, including Jack and especially Mittens, your kitty brother and sister. She still sits by the door, waiting for you to come home. She looks around the house, searching for you. We miss you more than we even thought possible. Your absence at home is unbearable and has left a deep hole in our hearts. Not hearing your excited meows and you running up to us when we get home is painful. I miss having you follow me from room to room, always keeping me company. You brought life to our home and something so special to our lives and it’s just not the same without you. We love you so so much and always will.
