Mackenzie came into my life when I was 14 years old. She was absolutely my soul cat; introverted to the world but oh so deeply comfortable and trusting with me. Mackenzie comforted me through many hard times in my teenage and young adult life. She always made me feel loved, needed and wanted. She would lay above my pillow, wrapped around my head, and pet my cheek with her tail all night long. She always knew when I needed her most. Mackenzie was a very vocal cat and loved to chirp and “talk” all the time with me, those sounds I will always remember. She loved to be 14 years old, exactly how old I was when I adopted her. I love her with my whole heart and I will miss her deeply every day.
