Patches

I will never remember the day our eyes first met. It was love at first sight. My Aussie-Shar Pei mix Patches grew up in a No-Kill shelter and thanks to a few people who dedicated their life to rescue, she found her way into my life at 7 years old. Me and my partner were able to gave her another 8 years until she passed at the age of 15. Patches was my reason to live, my shadow, my mirror, my heart, my soulmate. We travelled to 20 states in the last 7 years and she has been on countless road trips, always by my side. She was deeply devoted to me, and in return I dedicated every second of my life to her, to give her the life she deserved. I have never felt a greater love for any creature or human being before, and I doubt I ever will.

I hope you find the greenest pastures to roam and clearest waters to swim in. My beautiful beloved angel, I will miss you dearly until the end of time!
