On May 29th, we lost our Sadie, a remarkably loving soul who journeyed with us for 12 perfect years.
She was affectionately known to her family as Sadie girl, Sade, Sader, Potato, Sadie Potatie, Sader Potater, Sexy Sadie and fluffy bunny.
From the moment she arrived, she opened our hearts to a profound love that transcended our words. Sadie cherished the cooler, sunny days of fall, playfully jumping in the snow and was ever-so-happy with the simplest of joys—a gentle belly rub, a tender arm tickle, and of course, the thrill of a treat or shared pizza crust.
Her loyalty never wavered as she stayed devotedly right by her mom’s side until the very end. Sadie adored her dad’s warm, comforting body hugs, and her brother Anthony always made her tail wag the most. The affection from her sister, Frankie, truly made her feel cherished. While her playful antics with her dog brother, Louie, brought laughter into our lives, even when she chewed up his toys just for the squeaker.
Sadie was not just a pet; she was the heartbeat of our household—showing us steadfast love, loyalty, and an unwavering friendship. She loved us even when we stumbled and didn’t deserve it. Our lives were undeniably brighter with her in it.
Our hearts ache in her absence, but we celebrate the immeasurable joy she brought us and the countless memories we shared. We were immensely grateful to have shared our lives with such an extraordinary dog.
