Sammie

Sammie was my best friend since the day my family brought her home as a kitten when I was only 14 years old. She lived a beautiful long life of 23 years. I miss her so much and wish she was still with me. I will always think of all of our good times together. She made me feel loved everyday. I hope I made her feel the same. Sammie loved to snuggle in bed with me, warm up by the heat vents, and soak up the sun inside the house and out on the patio. She ran to me when I whistled for her when she was younger, she meowed with her squeaky voice to chat, and she purred loudly and often. She had a long, healthy life and loved eating her cat food and sliced turkey. She lost her appetite and became very weak the end of February after her 23rd birthday. She spent her last week with me and our family snuggled up and loved. I cry everyday now that she is gone but I know we will see each other again one day. I love you Sammie.
