Samson was the most loyal, loving, protective, goofy dog in the world. From the moment he joined our family he completed us. He loved chasing his brothers (human and fur), playing ball, giving many kisses, cuddling, eating everything (including his Dad’s sandwiches when he wasn’t looking). We’re going to miss his barks, his jumping and excitement. A huge piece of our hearts are missing with Samson gone. We’ll love you forever!

  1. Samson,

Ole Boy, you taught us unconditional love! While I have had many special moments with you, I will always remember the “Happy Dance” and your Full Body Lean, to let me know you were there!

The joy you brought your family and mine, made life so much better! The special bond you created with each family member will never be broken. You have taken a little piece of everyone’s heart with you!

We will always cherish the memories that you have left behind. So, my dear friend, run across that Rainbow Bridge! Heaven’s Gates are wide open, waiting for you!

    Love, Papa

  2. Samson was always a bundle of joy to be around. Happy to see you. Happy to visit you. Happy to be by your side. We were lucky to have such a kind, gentle dog in the family. He was also lucky to have Michael, Melissa, Gianni, Herc, and LeLe. Samson was like an extra brother/son. Forever faithful to the family that gave him such a wonderful life. Samson only wanted to love and be loved … and was extremely loved by our family! We will miss you dearly!

  3. Samson the lover, the protector, gave the best cuddles . You left your paw prints in our familes hearts now a star in the sky. Thanks for giving my family lots of loving memories. Hope your are running with Bozo and Addie girl in the heavens above. You may be no longer be by our side, but forever in our families hearts. Hugs Auntie

  4. My Samson. I wanted a boy named Samson, and you were him. It is crazy to think that the most gentle and loving boy spent the first year and a half of his life in a shelter. I will miss your deep, derpy howl, your smile, and how you looked after your mom and human brother so closely. YOU decided that Gianni was going to be your responsibility the day you met him.

I will always think of you when I eat steak, and how you earned your middle name of “T-Bone” from trying to steal steak off the grill the first day you came to our home. You had a knack for making people love you. You won your Papa over by sheer persistence, since he was never a fan of larger dogs. You sought him out immediately, sat next to him, leaned into him, and changed his mind forever.

This could go on forever, as I wish your life could. It has been said that humans have to live longer, in order to learn how to live and live a good life. Dogs don’t need to stay as long because they already know how to love and be good. All dogs go to Heaven, and I will see you, Addy, Bozo, and Eddy on Rainbow Brodge someday. Until then, please watch over us, my Samson.

    Love,
    Dad
