Conner Ivey
Conner was something else. Never a fussy or bouncy dog. Conner came into this world as my daughter Quiyana’s dog on October 13, 2006. Quiyana enjoyed Conner for a short while. And then said, “Grandaddy, hold my dog for 10 days.” Conner was with my Dad (Cleveland Ivey) aka “Grandaddy” for 10 years. Conner was a Bichon Frise. And my Dad’s best best friend. Dad died February 3, 2018. Dad’s last words were, “Please take care of my dog! Whatever you do, DON’T GIVE MY DOG AWAY!” I didn’t. I promised! Conner was with me 17 months. Never missed a vet appointment or groom appointment. Conner lived like a King. Conner went wherever I went. Conner loved to ride in the van. Conner enjoyed A LOT of long road trips in a year. Conner had a BIG 12th Birthday Party. Conner got a new bed every 3 months, snow suit and sweaters for Chicago winter. Conner never got used to a real winter. Conner was used to Georgia weather and long walks with my Father…
Conner you were loved. You are loved and will be truly missed. But you are with your best friend “Grandaddy” now. R.I.H.
Love, Your Grandmother & Sister Zsahanna Keione (Ivey) Greene
(Conner’s remains will be taken to Georgia and sprinkled to my Dad’s grave overlooking the duck pond)
