Dolce’s life was a beacon of hope, illuminating the profound impact of love and companionship. As a certified TDI Therapy Dog, she touched countless lives over 10 remarkable years and 250 visits, spreading joy and inspiration wherever she went. Her playful spirit and loving nature were contagious, and she even adopted some of Max’s wonderful traits, a testament to the transformative power of relationships. Dolce’s bond with her cousin Lito was truly special, a shining example of unwavering devotion and loyalty. We shared countless adventures, from running with Dave to sheep herding, agility, and hikes at the park, creating a treasure trove of memories that will forever inspire us. Her joy was infectious, and she loved nothing more than playing with her toys and indulging in her favorite treats, Middlefield Swiss (thanks Mom) and ice cream, reminding us to appreciate life’s simple pleasures. Dolce’s brave but short battle with mouth cancer was a testament to her strength and resilience, and though her time with us was cut short, we cherished every precious moment, grateful for the time we had with her. In her final days, we celebrated her 14.5 years of life, and yesterday, she peacefully passed in our arms, surrounded by love and the soothing presence of cardinals(grandma & grandpa were waiting), a poignant reminder of the beauty and wonder of life. Though cancer may have taken her physical body, it will never diminish the profound impact she had on our lives, a legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift us. We will forever hold her memory close to our hearts, grateful for the gift of Dolce’s life and the lessons she taught us about love, loyalty, and the transformative power of relationships.
