Jake Nelson

Jake the wonder dog. He was rescued from a Texas Kill shelter and shipped to Michigan. He ended up at a sAnimal Welfare Society of Southeast Michigan where he spent 7 months before we fell in love with him. I think his smile scared many people off and I am glad it did. I remember the first day I met Jake. I was taking him for a walk and in his excitement he wrapped the leash around me and I fell over. His handler at the shelter said "Jake don't do that or you will never find a home" I am actually glad he tripped me or I wouldnt have gotten my face licked and fell in love with him. He loved to walk and Murelene loved to fish so we would go camping, Murelene would fish and we would hike the trails. I will miss those great times I had with Jake but I am sure we will meet again once my days end. Have fun in doggy heaven Jake, till we meet again.
