Koko

Koko was born in Alaska as a sled dog. She was bred from champions of both the Iditarod and the Yukon Quest. Fortunately, for us, she was too lazy to work and so she was sold by her musher. We got her as a puppy and we fell in love instantly. She was full of love and our house was never silent as it was always full of her howls. She loved her mom (me) and dad, her housemate (a German Shepherd), her human sibling, and every single person she met. She was our 3 year old daughter’s best friend. She was obsessed with our daughter as soon as we brought her home after I gave birth. She was always excited to greet her in the morning. She was only with us for 6 years, but she was a part of a lot of big changes in our lives. We are so sad cancer took her away from us, but we have comfort in knowing she resting in the clouds and is pain free. We miss her so much and our house is so quiet without her.
