Stewey was my best friend for 15 years. He was a special dog, and by special I mean he would not let anyone touch him but me! Those of you who knew him and loved him can attest to that! I remember shortly after I got him, I decided to take him to the enclosed tennis courts across the street. He was so skittish he wouldn’t even come to me! I spent over an hour chasing that darn dog around! I finally gave up and acted like I was heading home. I turned around and there’s Stewey zooming after me running right in the front door! After he got a little older he did let Benny and Heather pet him, but only when he was getting a bath. He was a brave soul that protected me. For a little dog he had a big loud bark. My life will not be the same without Stewey in it.
