I always tell people, “Syre chose me just as much as I chose him.” Out of all his brothers and sisters in the liter, he was the only one that came up to me on his own. He proceeded to lay on my lap and went right to sleep. From that moment forward, we were inseparable. Syre, you brought the most joy I’ve ever known. You revealed in me a love that I never knew I possessed. In a lot of ways, you taught me how a man should look after his own. You were and always will be my son and best friend. You were such a good boy. You were so nice and kind to everyone and any other dog you came into contact with. You were there with me through thick and thin. From city to city, from state to state. Your brought my mom, sister, aunts, cousins and friends happiness and companionship too. You were truly a special soul. One of a kind. I hope I was able to give you the life you deserved. I’m so grateful to have been there to witness your growth and life. Thank you for choosing me. Love you forever.
