Zoey Lynn came into my life over 12 years ago and stole my heart the moment I seen her, as she did with everyone she met. Since the day I met her, we have been the bestest of friends, she knows all my secrets. My grandma Debbie, great grandma Mitchell and uncle Dave actually found and rescued this gorgeous little curly haired baby when she was just roughly around 4 months old and then I had the pleasure of taking care and spoiling her for the rest of her days. From running around the street dodging cars in Newport Kentucky she came home with me to Cincinnati Ohio and from there she became my little travel partner , she even moved to Denver Colorado! Zozo’s favorite place was always somewhere near or in the mountains with a nice breeze , I guess all her hair made her hot so she loved the wind and fall time but for some reason still would fight me for the heating pad. I’ve always said Zoey was my fur baby but she was her own doggie, meaning she was her own human self in dog form. Her personality couldn’t have been any more human like. She was a master manipulator for treats and even ended up learning/knowing the pig latin way of saying it as well as if you spelt it out. Them big brown eyes could sucker you into giving her table scraps just from one look. She loved walks just not to long of ones or else you better have been prepared to carry her the rest of the way but going bye bye on a car ride was superior to her!, especially if you got her a pup cup and don’t worry she would say thank you by giving you kisses nonstop! Little Zoey loved sitting on her daddy’s lap during a car ride looking out the window, I guess she could see more from his lap than mine. She really knew how to cheer someone up and make them smile when you didn’t feel good or just had to much on your shoulders, she was a perfect listener and her head tilts showed she was listening. Zoey was the world’s best dog and I’ll never forget her. No other animal could ever take her place. She was a tough girl and fought back so hard, she was truly a warrior fighting that cushing disease, she made fighting her chronic illness look so easy I wish I could have learned how she did that. Rest in peace by beautiful little angel, as mommy, daddy and the rest of your family will never forget you and always love you, your forever our precious princess!
