Losing anyone is difficult but I think there’s something especially hard about losing an animal. Maybe it’s because they can’t actually talk? The companionship they provide is unconditional and the loss always painful. I lost a cat this year in the fall and the dog I’ve had the longest in my life the day after Christmas. I was expecting to pick up my cat’s ashes at the vet’s office but they deliver to your home. They are so compassionate and sincere when you interact with them, I think they are very special people who truly know what our animals mean to us. Daryl delivered my cat’s ashes to me in the fall and was just the nicest and Rob delivered my dog’s ashes today. They were both so kind and it truly made me feel better. Having your pet back with you after you lose them always makes me feel better. Thank you to all of you. ♥️
