Angel

To my best friend that impacted my life the way I thought no one or anything ever could. I love you so much. The moment I laid eyes on you at the shelter I knew you were meant to be mine. We were so inseparable and we had such a special bond that no one or anything could replace. You we’re battling against three different aggressive cancers. Chemo couldn’t save you so I tried my best to take care of you until you were done fighting your battle. Nothing prepares you for the heartbreak of losing your child or best friend. I will miss those bright icy eyes of yours, your loud snores, and you sitting at my feet until I give in to give you anything I might be eating. I hope you are flying so high and made it safely over the rainbow bridge. It’s now time for you to continue writing the story about the rest of your journey as I have closed the book for now. I will forever cherish all of the memories and love we have shared. You brought so much light into my life when there was darkness. You were always there for me and made my life feel like it was worth it when I was ready to give up. I love you so much my sweet Angel Baby and you are no longer in pain. I’ll see you again someday and we will be together once again where we belong. 🐾 Thank you Almost Home-NO KILL Shelter for bringing this beautiful Angel into my life.
