Blue

Blue was born on the streets of the south side of Chicago. He was adopted at 4 weeks of age with his brother, Maize. He proudly sported 6 toes on each of his large front paws, and was said to be a descendent of a Hemingway cat. He had a penchant for sweet things. As a kitten he tumbled onto a slice of vanilla bean cheesecake, and the top of his head somehow always smelled like maple syrup. He was a lover, a sweet cat who never tired of pets. He enjoyed spending his days with his family and was always “where the action was.” He often sat curled in one of his human’s laps during mealtime. He loved to show his soft belly for rubs. He was gentle and trusting. He enjoyed exploring the outdoors and learned to go in and out through the window. His family will miss him dearly; his presence and antics brought so much joy. They will be forever waiting for him to climb back through the window.
