Brodie

Brodie was my best friend for 14 years. We had a lot of fun times, but also many challenges. He had his first epileptic seizure when he was nearly 8; adding and adjusting medications went on for a couple of years, but in time we did achieve good control and he remained seizure free the last 6 years of his life. He also had a heart condition (that was corrected by him receiving a pacemaker!), and then survived removal of a cancerous tumor on his neck. During all of this he never lost his sweet, loving spirit, nor his determination to live his best life. Unfortunately, it was a brain tumor that caused his death. My world is so empty without him; I am heartbroken that I have lost my best friend but will carry his spirit with me forever.
