17 years, how to describe 17 years with dog who was the kindest, who gave more unconditional love than anyone. She was there there through most of my major life events. Always waiting at the door to give her love. She loved chasing waves on lake Superior, eating pizza crusts, and cuddling. Everyone who met her fell in love with her and she stole so many hearts. Her time here felt like a flash but my family was so lucky to have this soul as one of us. One day, we will cross over and she will be waiting there, tongue hanging out, ready to play again.
