CECIL

There is a danger In adopting senior cats and loving them so much.
You never have enough time.
This AMAZING (15 yr young) ) boy was the longest resident at the shelter. That meant he was at risk for euthanasia.
One look at him and I was putty in his paws.
I immediately brought him home.
It was one of the quickest and best decisions I have ever made in my life.
Unfortunately right before we rescued each other that the lion Cecil had been killed.
I wanted to honor him and that is how my gorgeous boy got his name.
He gave us almost 7 WONDERFUL years.
We are beyond heartbroken .
(his furry siblings search for him and that breaks my heart even more)

The only comfort I feel is thanks to lap of love and faithful companion, he is no longer in pain.
And also made his way back home in less than 24 hours.
THANK YOU for making this as comfortable as possible under the devastating circumstances!
(we are in Chicago but for some reason that was not an option or location.)
