For over 14 years, we had our sweet little girl. She was with us when we lost our parents. She sat with us and comforted us in our grief. She was fun, too. She loved to hike and travel with us. Like her owners, she enjoyed the cooler weather and snow. We can still hear the sound of her paws crunching newly-fallen, autumn leaves, as she bounced happily on wooded trails. We can still see her raising her paw in friendly greeting. Even those who didn’t know her fell in love with her instantly. She was our dear little bi-eyed “sled dog.” She was a blessing from God above, and we are so thankful He lent her to us. Now she is cancer-free , well and whole and back with Him. Until we meet again, she lives in our hearts.
