Der Hund

Der Hund adopted us as a stray over five years ago. This is when he began visiting us for food and our warm couch. We fell in love with his soulful face, and loving demeanor. So, he became the newest member of our family. He was already an older fella, with a grizzled yet dignified muzzle. He stole the hearts of everyone that met him.
He loved going for walks, cuddling with his mom, sitting in the music room with his dad, spooning with his Sheltie sister Ginny, and his toys. He’d greet us at the door with a toy in his mouth, usually one of his “punkins”.
Hund passed away peacefully in his sleep after battling cancer. Our lives were made better exponentially with him in our family. He was our angel in life, so his transition to heaven was an easy one. Rest In Peace, our sweet boy. We’ll hold you in our hearts, and love you always.
