Gabriel

My sweet Gabriel (Gabers), you came into my life when I was about 15 years old. My french teacher brought a box of kittens into the classroom. All of the kittens were quite shaken up from a car accident. She was asking if anyone wanted to take one home. I recently lost a cat, and my father told me I could get another one (he didn’t say when). Well, I snuck you on the bus with me, and when I walked into the door, I told my dad about you. He was not happy that I brought you home and said I had to return you in the morning. Well, morning came, and you were snuggled up sleeping on my dad’s chest, and when it came time to head out for the bus, my dad said you could stay. You were one of the sweetest, if not the sweetest, cats I have ever been around. You had a pure heart and were so nice to any other animals that came into the home. You were accepting of our dog Toby, with whom you grew a strong bond, too, and he definitely misses his best furry friend. It took a while for my cat Tommy to warm up to you as he thinks he runs the house. Tommy is about 4 years older than you at 20 people years old, and he really misses you too despite his tough-guy appearance. I miss you and your sweet little meow that kept you always sounding like a little kitten. Thank you for the many wonderful years together. You have been there through many ups and downs in my life and have brought so much joy to my children. We all love and miss you so very much and are happy that you no longer have to eat a special diet and take medicine every day. Enjoy all the shrimp and tuna you want. We love you, my little precious Gabriel (Gabers, Bunny, Heart). Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge.
Mommy, Daddy, Nathan, Cali, Madison, Toby, Tommy, Lucy, and Grandpa.
