Grey one, Athena. She never responded to that name, but seemed to like Grey. She was a PetSmart special at 11PM when I was in college. I didn’t go there for a cat, but that didn’t matter to her. She rolled over into her water and food spilling it completely, reaching her paw out to me and that was it. I was hers throughout my twenties and early thirties and she made it clear I was her human. She would lick my tears away and pull my face into hers. She always wanted me to hold her like you would a teddy bear. My sweet girl…my best friend. May you fly with Bast and meet Steve Irwin and Betty White. Until we meet again.

You never knew there’s a Cat shaped hole in your life, until you lose the cat that filled it! Grey filled your life with love , happiness and great companionship! She will be greatly missed.

    You were in my dreams last night. It was different....I knew it couldn't be you. You are gone, after all. The mark you made on my heart will never, ever fade. I think of you every day. I long to have your nose in my face, for you to rub the tears away. Please do me a favor and help fellow purrlot Madison attach her wings. Take her to the best sunbeams. Let her meet Betty white and Steve irwin...they'll love her, too. Forever your human.
