Heidi Lu

  • Date of Birth: 05/31/2008
  • Date of Passing: 04/25/2021

Heidi Lu was a beautiful, intelligent and loving girl. She was the light of lives, our sunshine on a cloudy day and filled our hearts with joy and laughter. She was always excited to greet us with a gift in her mouth and a wagging tail, even when she didn’t feel well after a chemo treatment and right up to her last day. She always comforted us when she was the one that needed comfort. She could cheer us up instantly if we were having a bad day. She loved us unconditionally!! Her favorite things to do were to go to the farm, watch birds, dig for critters, follow her human daddy everywhere, go for walks, play keep away and snuggle. She was truly the best dog ever and we miss her terribly. We’re grateful for the almost 13 years we spent together and are happy you’re not in pain anymore. Rest comfortably in the arms of our Lord, play in the fields of Heaven and keep watch over us until we can be together again. You will always be our Sunshine, the love of our lives, and our little girly. We love you and miss you so much baby girl.

Love and Hugs, Mom, Dad, Robert and Kelsey! XOXOXOXOXO

P.S. Special thanks to our beautiful daughter and Heidi’s Veterinarian, Dr. Kelsey Hikade, for taking such great care of Heidi, and to the many people behind the scene that aided in her care at Dunckel and MSU. To the staff at Faithful Companion, our deepest gratitude for treating us and Heidi with compassion and respect. We are truly grateful!

Heidi was a very gentle dog. She will be missed. Memories of her visiting and being with her outside watching JJ as he worked around the house. She always kept her eyes on him and made sure he was in her view. So cute! 💗
