Jake

On June 21, my sweet Jake passed on to the Rainbow Bridge as unexpectedly as he came to me back in 2008, when his previous owners moved and left him behind to fend for himself in the winter. A friend of my Mom’s took him in, but she already had several cats, so that is how he came to be the man of our house.
I have had the pleasure of being his Mom for 11+ years. He was the sweetest most gentle soul who loved his food, his nip, and his foot stool. He also loved fighting with his sister Bianca. ( deep down I know they loved each other). I will miss his warm snuggles, his beautiful soulful amber eyes, his little snaggle tooth, and his deep rumbly purr. I’m dissolving into tears as I write this, because I did not expect to lose him last Friday. I didn’t even know he was sick. He knew it was his time. He passed away before I even had a chance to make “ the decision”. That was Jake. RIP sweet boy. You were SO loved.
