Jaxson crossed Rainbow Bridge on 1/24/25, just shy of 9 years old . He is leaving behind his parents, Pat and Kim, fur-brother, Tucker, and human siblings, Ben and Kate. He was majestical and a beautiful, big boy. Jax lived a life tormented by fear, in which many avenues were explored and managed over his 8 year life. He felt safe at home and with those he vetted for his inner circle. Jaxson loved chasing squirrels, rolling in stinky things and wintertime. During the summer, he couldn’t want to get inside but he wanted to be outside when it was cold or in the middle of the night, presumably when it was more quiet and peaceful for him. He also knew how to play his parents by waiting outside until a treat was presented. Jaxson let you know he was around by using his enormous paw to nudge you. Jaxson had the softest ears and jowls. His tail was long and loud when he would wag it and it would hit the walls, especially when excited family had returned home. He had keen eyes and seemed to see for miles and a nose that could tell you when any kind of meat was in the kitchen. Jax was the first to bark to notify he was ready for bed and wanted you to join. Jaxson was fear reactive to all other dogs yet extremely bonded to his fur-brother, Tucker, who missed him deeply. Jax was one of a kind and while it was often said he was lucky to have his family, the truth is, we were lucky to have him. He will forever be loved and missed.
