Katie was thee most amazing dog I’ve ever owned. I rescued her as a 4 week old puppy when working as a police officer in Tennessee. She was a “mountain feist” which I never heard of lol. Chihuahua with long legs more like it! Lol. Katie “chose” me to be her Dad and what a blessing it was! She was always there with me through some of the best and darkest times in my life. A few years later her sister Madison (who just crossed the rainbow bridge to be with her) entered our world. They were the best of friends.

Katie, it’s been just over 3 years since you left me and the pain in my heart remains. Not a day goes by I don’t think about you. Please take care of your sister Madison till I get there to see you both. Always love you, Daddy.
