Klaus Dieter Childrey

Klaus was born October 11, 2003. The runt of the litter, we welcomed him into our home where he quickly became a member of the family. He traveled from the mountains to the coast of North Carolina and everywhere in between. He was loved by his companions Fritz (who preceded him at the Rainbow Bridge) and Lita and Max. And he loved them in return. He lived a relatively quiet life in later years, making occasional trips to the coast, but he preferring the couch and quality nap time. But like all living things, age and illness came and he was no exception. With his daddy Mark holding him close, Klaus left this world on March 31, 2018, to begin his own journey to the Rainbow Bridge where he was surely met by many, including his best buddy Fritz. He is missed and we’re all so lonesome without his presence. But Heaven in its beauty will include animals, so we will all meet and be whole again. We love you, Klausie. We miss you dearly. Wait for us at the bridge. We’ll see you there.
