Lilly Rose Barnes

Lilly Rose Barnes was lovingly called Eeyore because of her slow moving “oh bother” attitude. When she would get off the sofa, she would plant her front feet firmly on the floor and then let her back half fall off like a slinky hitting the floor with a loud thud. However put a bunny rabbit in that equation and she turned into energetic Tigger. She was a no nonsense kind of girl, give me food, water, and treats and definitely no kisses and yet if it was her idea she would snuggle up close to your side. She was her grandma Thomae’s favorite girl. She is survived by her last remaining sister Emmalin Summer Daisy. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ambercrombie, Remington, Winchester, Weatherby, Paddy, and Buzzby.

We are grateful to American Brittany Rescue, Elisa Young, Laura Taus, Terry Mixdorf, everyone involved in blessing us with being able to adopt her. We are also grateful to Pat Dorgan for our favorite picture of Lilly that she took for us at the ABR picnic the day we adopted Lilly. A special thank you to Vale Park Animal Hospital and their amazing doctors and staff who worked hard to find a solution and make her comfortable.
