Mara

Mara was the best dog. Our two other dogs, which were great also, had passed at different times the year before. By that time, I was feeling like I could really use a dog again. I saw her picture on the local APL website, and that was it. We don’t know the four years before we got her, or really how such a wonderful dog was just found roaming the streets. But she loved everyone, especially my aunt, and was definitely loved by everyone who met her. We had Mara for exactly three and half years. I wish it could have been much longer, but I appreciate what we had and wouldn’t give it up for anything.
