    Max my heart is broken and a piece of me is missing. You were my companion and best friend for 12 years and 5 months. You were my little valentine because you were born on 2/14. I had to make the choice to let you go on 7/23/09, when you looked me in the eye and let me know you were tired and ready. You loved everyone you met human and dogs. You never met a stranger and was so smart, you trained me well. You will be missed by all and loved forever. You go run and play with all the other dogs and we will see each other again.

      It has been 6 weeks since you went to be at the Rainbow Bridge. I still miss you laying up against my legs and keeping me warm and bouncing around the house wanting a treat. Rest in peace my sweet boy.

      It has been almost two years and you are still missed and loved. No longer by my side but forever in my heart.
