When I rescued you at 5, little did I know that you would in fact be rescuing me in so many ways.
You brought me nothing but joy. You taught me unconditional love. Everyone that met you knew you weren’t “just a dog” – you were a rare gem. I hope you are running with grandma and free from pain. We will meet once again, but until then, know that you are never far from my heart. I miss you so much.
