Mission

My sweet Mishy crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday. It doesn’t feel real that I will never see her in our home again. She’s been with me for almost half of my life. I couldn’t have asked for a better dog to have by my side for 14 years. She was my first baby.
She was my little Roomba, she would eat anything and everything that would fall on the floor. Mishy made it very easy to clean up after a toddler eating.
I will miss her butterfly kisses. She wasn’t a big licker, but loved to put her nose on yours.
I will miss her sleeping above my head in bed.
I will miss her cuddles.
I will miss her following me around like the little puppy dog that she was. Even yesterday morning she was following me around. She loved being close to me, and I loved being close to her.
I will miss picking her little eye boogers and letting her eat them (she always liked to eat them).
I thought I was going to lose her 7 years ago, so I’m very grateful I got twice that amount of time with her.
Mishy was a fighter, she was so strong. She was my little protector.
But it was finally time to let her rest.
I loved my little Mishy Fishy so much. I’m so glad she was in my life, and I will always cherish the memories I have with her.
