Mr. Boston

Mr. Boston was named for the Boston Market restaurant, where he was found severely malnourished. His suffering didn’t end there as he had chronic sinusitis, a hole in his palate and all of his teeth had to be removed. We worked for months getting him to trust us, he was so frightened. But it was certainly worth it. He was such a trooper, happy to play with a shoe string on good days or curl up and nap with you. Mr. Boston, we were so lucky to have 10 years with you and it hurts so much to say good-bye. But you are no longer suffering and you have joined your friends, Coco, Snowball and Ching. Until we meet again, you will live forever in our hearts. We miss you so much. Love, Leslie & Kamala & the rest of the gang on this side of the bridge.

It took a few years and many visits for mr boston to trust me enough to show himself when I would come to care for the kittahs. After I gained his trust he would faithfully wait by the bathtub at the beginning of each visit so I could turn the water on for him to take a long drink. He was a sweet boy!

It has been one year without you and we still miss you so much. We have the tiny feral named Gremlin in the house now and she reminds us of you with her walk and tail wags. But it isn't you.
