Nellie

Nellie was more than our loving family friend. While I was In Mosul Iraq in the army he was a young pup around New Orleans who endured Hurricane Katrina. We met up after I got home in early 2006 and he became our forever pet after being brought up from a shelter down south. Luckily the lady who rescued him down there could not keep him so we were afforded the chance. We both had our demons of what we had endured in our heads and became faithful friends My daughter loved him so much as well she was only 8 when he came to be part of the family. They became best of friends too. He was more than just a dog he was our fun loving loyal companion who was always there to greet us at the door. We miss you so much Nellie and will always love you sweet pup. RIP our sweet angel above.
