Sadie

    Our Sadie girl… 3/19/12 – 6/25/18
We made the difficult decision to let her go on June 25th and although it hurts beyond words we know she is not suffering. You cant truly be prepared for choosing when your furbaby has to go, but it was like being in autopilot mode, as if our brains had to shut off the emotion side to get through having her walk into our car and walking her into the vet know we would not be walking out with her.

Before we left our home, Sadie was able to run in the backyard which she loved to do. She didn’t run much but certainly enjoyed it even if only a few seconds. Sadie has had health issues from the beginning and it truly was amazing she lived to be 6 years old. She could have been gone 3 years ago had we not caught the signs of something majorly wrong. She was experiencing splenic torsion and had emergency surgery to have her spleen removed.

She was pure sweetness, our big girl. She brought joy to our lives and our dog Daisy & Minnie’s too. Our Sadie will be missed so much, this void in our home without her is aching on our hearts. We love big girl. Run free <3

So sorry for your loss. We had to have our Mugsy put down on June 22nd. We knew something was wrong, but never thought we'd have to make the decision so quickly. She had a large abdominal tumor and blood was pooling in her abdomen. She was such a sweet girl.💔 Many tears, but many sweet memories.

Dana, the sudden loss is something that is never expected and we lived through that in 2012, our dog Duke collapsed in our backyard and died nearly instantly. We never saw it coming, he was a healthy 6 yr old dog and we dont know what happened to him. ironically Sadie is our doggie that we got after Duke passed away and she too only lived to be 6 yrs old. So strange. We have 2 other dogs at home still a 12 yr old and 2 yr old and we all are grieving her passing. Hugs and love to you as the unexpected loss of your sweet girl sets in :(

Liz, reading about Sadie brings back memories of when I had to let go of one of my dogs. Said I would never have another dog because letting them go is so hard. I feel your pain! No one can take away your memories of her....rely on those when you get sad!! Thinking of you as I wipe away tears for Sadie....and my Cheli!

It was only a few months ago when my Sister and I had to send Sophie to puppy heaven I didn’t think I would ever stop crying. I am so sad for you, Steve, Max , Minnie and Daisy. My love to all of you and Sadie.

Liz.. Losing a pet is one of the most difficult things to go thru. They are truly family members with fur. My heart goes out to you. We lost Abby in february. There still isn't a day i don't think of her. Hopefully Sadie had found new friends and is now running free with them. Much love to you and your family including your sweet fur babies who are missing their sister.
