Shakespeare

Shakespeare was born on March 20, 2007 to his mom Velvet and dad Copper and Grandpa Buddy in Sydney, Ohio. He was adopted by his furrrever family in November of 2007 and moved to Delaware, Ohio. He was loved by his family so much and will be forever missed. Shakespeare, followed his mommy everywhere no matter what time of day or night and loyally slept next to her. He took care of his human little brother Chase when he was born by dropping his dog food near his swing, his way of feeding the new pup! Shakespeare, a self proclaimed canine foodie, loved eating! He loved begging on his hinds or handing his paw for a taste of the family food. He also enjoyed rolling on his back to wiggle, walking with his doggy girlfriend, taking car rides, belly rubs and neck rubs from his Dad, playing fetch and sleeping on the couch. On April 21st he sadly was diagnosed with inoperable hemangeosarcoma of the spleen. He was a tough guy and continued taking even longer walks and drives with his mom and doggy girlfriend despite being so ill. He wore his mom out by walking all day Saturday but kept tugging the leash to see the world which shows his appetite for life even during his difficulty. Shakespeare passed away peacefully at his home in Ostrander , surrounded by his family after a walk with his girlfriend and his first and last hershey bar. We will miss him forever but blessed he came to us.
