We found Sophie, or she found us, in a parking lot fifteen years ago, and it was clear that she had been through a lot. We fell in love with her right away and wanted to protect her and give her a wonderful life. She let us hold her and hug her and take care of her, and she made us smile every day. She was silly and sassy, and she will always, always be in our hearts.
