Sweet Grace

Our Grace passed suddenly with cancer. She as about 10 y/0 but we only had for 2.5 yrs. Thanks for letting me share a love letter to her:
Grace, you left us too soon. We weren’t looking to adopt a third rescue, but you appeared. We named you Grace. It was so befitting your spirit and beauty.
I am sad left knowing there wasn’t enough time together. There were not enough watching you rolling in the grass, neighborhood walks, groomer trips (with White Castle detours), RV treks with you as my co-pilot, and “sneak attacks” under the kitchen island.
There was time enough for love though. There was time and space for you to feel safe & secure, to learn to trust. Time enough for us to surround you with unconditional love. And, most of all, time for you to leave your mark on on our hearts.
Rest easy and love always, our Sweet Gracie Girl.
