Topaz Marie, or “Taz” as she was affectionately called, was a one was a one of a kind, institution of a cat. She had a spirit unlike any other, and she never spent a day of her life thinking she was anything less than an actual baby. She came in to my life at three weeks old, and for the next 19 years, gave me a foundation and a support that could never be matched, and never wavered. I was a broken 14 year old when I became “mom” and she became my soul, and my world. Her physical presence in my life is a loss that will never really heal, a void that will never go away. Until we’re together again, my sweet baby cat, you will hold all of my heart.
