Jae

We brought Jae home shortly after Christmas of 2012. She passed away on April 1st, 2024. We got almost twelve great years with her.

Jae was a purebred black German Shepherd. She had the most beautiful, dark coat and gorgeous brown eyes. Her legs and paws were a tan color. She was an absolutely beautiful dog.

Jae loved playing in her kiddy pool during the summer. She also loved chasing the water that would come from the hose. She loved anything bacon or cheese flavored and never passed up the opportunity to beg for human food. She spent the majority of her days sunbathing and watching the squirrels that frequent our yard. She loved to chase the animals that would come into the yard, but she never actually harmed any…(surprising right?) She was the most perfect dog anyone could’ve asked for.

We are going to miss hearing her big scary bark when the mailman came. We are going to miss her beautiful black fur that would cover the carpet and our clothes. We are going to miss her warm kisses and sweet cuddles. We are going to miss her greeting us at the door, no matter what time it was.

She was a dog that truly left her mark on our family and everyone who got the chance to meet her. Even though she may be physically gone, she will forever be apart of me and my family. We love you, Jae and we miss you so much.
