Lucy had to leave us today. She was one of a kind. She came from a shelter and found a life with a family that loved her.She will be missed by myself, wife, and kids. Along with Moe, Noodle, and Winston. She had family I am sure she visited today whom she missed very much, Go find Slick Lucy, go get him.

    To know Lucy was to know loyalty and love. She was my closest friend. My walking buddy. My confidante. Without her, life is not as bright. The full body tail wag, the “endearing vocals “ she made that were part bark, part howl, and those eyes that held her whole heart in them- nothing will compare to her unique qualities. We had to fight with another couple at the shelter to get you. Everyone wanted you. Now, I just want you back. But, since that can’t happen, please make your bed that special way, spin around at least 20 times and get up and move until you find the perfect spot. Go there every night… until we meet again my girl. Forgive us for the decision we made out of love for you. We will never be the same.
