She was my absolute best friend, my very first. I got her as an emotional support companion a couple of months after my father passed when I was twelve. She was there for every tear, every milestone, every travel. She was my baby, my joy in life. Nothing is the same without her, but I’d rather her pain-free and happy. I just know my father, grandfather, and aunt are taking care of her until I can again.
