Roxy Skilone

Absolute gut-punch to start 2021, but would be an injustice to not say a few words to honor my best friend of 12+ years. Roxy passed away from Congestive Heart Failure last night comforted at home by my wife and myself.
Once just the two of us, she later welcomed two cats, my wife and our newborn daughter into our home. Countlessly putting her self-aside and yet continued to love all of us unconditionally till her last breath. This year she got to enjoy two wonderful vacations to Sunset Beach and Jacksonville Beach surrounded by all the friends and family she loved.
With a condition we knew was terminal she battled a prognosis of 6 months and ended up living to see one more birthday 14 months later. I am going to miss you so much my little friend and I hope there is an endless supply of tennis balls at the rainbow bridge. Hopefully, someone at your dinner table will be dropping crumbs off their plate for you to enjoy.
Until we meet again, my dear friend. I hope you have peace and never experience pain ever again. If there is anything we humans can learn from you is to love without boundaries and love each other unconditionally, expecting nothing in return. You will be sorely missed. Much Love.
