You were the puppy I begged for as a little 9 year old girl, and the best surprise ever. 17 years did not seem like enough time. Thank you for sticking around until you knew I would be taken care of.
You were my best boy, and my best friend. The one I cried the hardest and laughed the loudest with. I will never forget you, and I will miss you for as long as I live.

On Sunday, April 30th, we lost our best boy! At 17 years and 12 days old his little body was dealing with more than it could handle.
Toby was the best dog! A loyal friend and trusted companion that had seen my family through some of its happiest and darkest times!
We will miss you sweet boy….run free… where the grass is green, the sun is always shining, and the breeze blows gently! Where every day is a trip to the country you loved and bunnies and squirrels are available in abundance for you to chase to your hearts delight. I love you forever! – Mommy
