Toby

This dog was my best friend, my absolute favorite thing in life. It’s hard to remember what life was like before him. I don’t know how I will live without this little dog who stole my whole heart.

Each day I had the privilege to spend with him was special. He made the hardest days bearable and the happiest days even happier. During my lowest, he was there to lift me up. During my loneliest, he was there to cheer me up. When was lost, he was there to guide me back. People used joke that I loved him more than any human…and they were probably right. The number of years a dog gets to live is not even close to those of humans, I was lucky enough to spend 16 short years with him, and it just wasn’t enough. When he left he took a little piece of my heart with him. I will miss him for the rest of my life.
